Sulmona Aqueduct, Sulmona

15 minutes from Casa Chiara

Another prize of Sulmona is its 100 meter long ancient aqueduct. Considered to be the longest and most well preserved aqueduct from the 13th century, Sulmona’s aqueduct consists of 21 arches. Make sure to grab a drink of ice cold water from the Fontana del Vecchio at the fountain at the end of the aqueduct.
